As of November 1, 2018, James Kasper has been hired on a 42-week contract as CHLY's Workshop and Summer Camp Coordinator to pass on radio broadcasting training and knowledge to community members and students, through a series of workshops in early 2019, as well as a summer media camp for youths in 2019 in July and August. This project is funding by the Community Radio Fund of Canada (CRFC) as part of their Radiometres Program.Read More

On April the 24th, I was offered by the Board of Directors of the Radio Malaspina Society a position with CHLY 101.7FM as Executive Coordinator. I have accepted this position and have resigned from the board as its President. While I will miss my former role, I am incredibly excited about my new role moving forward.
We're aiming once again to raise $20,000 for the year of 2017. Starting from where we left off with the Spring Fund Drive around $10,000, we only need to raise another $10,000+ to succeed in that goal!Read More
