Terry Jones, director and actor in the Monty Python films has died aged 77 after 50 years in British comedy.
“He’s not the messiah, he’s a very naughty boy”—Welsh actor and comedian Terry Jones has died. Well known for his work with the Monty Python, Jones was also a screenwriter, director, and historian.
Jones had been unable to speak since 2017, after being diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia, a type of frontotemporal dementia in 2015. He died from complications from dementia in his home on January 22, 2020.
He will be missed.
