Are you a talented visual creative?

Nanaimo’s nonprofit radio station CHLY 101.7FM FM occasionally hires graphic designers, artists, and illustrators to design merch or promotional materials for our fund drives and more!

Right now, we’re soliciting portfolios so that we can hire a creative on a small contract to design our next fund drive shirt and tote in time for our 2026 Spring Fund Drive in March/April.

Who can apply?

We’re looking for creatives from Vancouver Island. Students from VIU, experienced artists, etc.

We want you to apply before January 15th 2025!

• A CV/Resume and cover letter;

• A portfolio of your work demonstrating your creative abilities, in either PDF or website format.

• Tell us about your favourite artists, designers, album covers, gig posters, etc.

Compensation

This is a paid project. Compensation be determined based on the experience of who we hire for the project.

As a community radio station focused on people, we want real human work. We will not and will never accept AI generated or AI assisted submissions.
