CHLY produces local civic and community news from our broadcast community and beyond. We serve Nanaimo and the Salish Sea region, reporting on the news in Nanaimo, Lantzville, Ladysmith, Gabriola Island, Denman Island, Hornby Island, the Oceanside region, and the Comox Valley. We can also be heard in Sechelt and the Southern Sunshine Coast.
Three plots of land have been donated to the community through the Canadian Ecological Gifts Program, and the CVRD is turning to the public for feedback on how to manage it.
