It’s that time of year again! February 14th just around the corner, and our Love Drive returns for its forth year!

Despite the bumps and bruises that can come for all of us with hearts, we’re still—mostly—romantics here at CHLY seeking love and connection. The Love Drive is a sweet opportunity for our listeners to take to the airwaves and spread the love they have for each other.

Returning again to sponsor the event is the ever so lovely and romantic Black Rabbit Kitchen. Those who submit will have a chance to win a $150 gift certificate for Black Rabbit Kitchen, with reservations available for Valentine’s Day night!

Again this year, your submission can be a message to your sweetheart, crush, missed connection, to your dog or cat, to the place you live, to the one that got away, to yourself… love comes in all forms and we want to celebrate whatever shape it takes for you this year!

Fill in the form on this page, or leave us a message at 1-250.740.1017 by noon Thursday February 12th, and we’ll broadcast your message on air on a special Friday Love Drive Edition of the VIU Metre from 3 PM to 5 PM. We’ll also share some of the notes on Instagram and Bluesky!

The winner for the prize draw will be notified on February 13th (so you can get your Friday reservation sorted), and announced on air on February 14th!
