As of March 16th 2023, CHLY-FM’s C/C Licence has been renewed by the CRTC from 2023-09-01 to 2030-08-31. Interventions were submitted in support of CHLY-FM by Barry Brooke Executive Director of the National Campus Community Radio Association (NCRA). No interventions were submitted against our renewal.

December 12 of this year will also mark 122 years since Marconi successfully broadcast across the Atlantic from Newfoundland to Cornwall England.
The objective of World Radio Day is to raise public awareness of the importance of radio and to encourage decision-makers to use it to provide access to information, and to improve international cooperation among broadcasters.
