The Radio Malaspina Society Board of Directors has moved to hold its 27th Annual General Meeting in person at Vancouver Island University. The meeting will occur on Thursday, October 30th with meeting sign-in starting at 5:30 PM, and meeting business starting at 6:00 PM.
CHLY 101.7FM has been since its inception, operated by the Radio Malaspina Society. This year will present to us our 20th Annual General Meeting since the Society was officially incorporated December 3rd 1997.
As part of this momentous milestone, we intend to make this a special Annual General Meeting. Exact details are pending, but if you have any photos from the past 20 years, please pass them along for use in our AGM20 materials. We also intend to have some guest speakers.
For elections this year under our staggered directorship bylaw, there are two student positions, two community positions, as well as one faculty position and one administrative position open for nomination.
